Mercedes delivered a lovely black-mouflon ewe lamb and handsome black ram lamb on April 23.  These lambs both carry moorit and spotting from their father Crispin.  Mercedes is a 4 year old black mouflon ewe.  Mercedes' lambing record is 1,2,2,2.  She is a wonderful mother with plentiful milk.   Pedigree

Ella delivered twins on April 16th.(Sire Apollo).  The white ram lamb looks just his father.  The black ewe lamb is very active and lively.  Both carry moorit and spotting.  See Ella's lambs on the Lambs for Sale page.  Ella's lambing history is 2,2.  She has plentiful milk and grows a gorgeous fleece.  Pedigree

Molly is a large, meaty, black-gray ewe.  Molly presented us with twin ewe lambs (sire Apollo) on April 17th.  They are white and black and are very large and square like their mom and dad.  See them on the Lambs for sale page.  Molly was not bred as a lamb, so her history is na,1,2.  Pedigree

  Lady Capulet is Molly's black-gray half-sister.  She is a tall, milky ewe who produced two adorable ewe lambs on April 22nd (sire Crispin).  They are moorit grey and grey moorit spotted.  Molly is an excellent mother who is very attentive to her lambs.  Lady was not bred as a lamb, her lambing history is na,2,2.   Pedigree

 Shantung is the newest member of our ewe flock.  She is a 2 year old moorit from Tongue River Farm.  This delightful ewe presented us with twin ewe lambs just 5 days after her arrival from Missouri.  She is an excellent mother with plentiful milk.  Her lambing history is 0,2.  Pedigree

Apollo, the son of Mercedes and a Mjaldurson, is a big, noble ram.  He has a gorgeous flowing white fleece and a very mild temperament. He was bred to Molly and Ella this year.  See their beautiful babies on the lambs for sale page.  Apollo is a twin and is pictured at 10 months old.  Pedigree

Crispin is the moorit spotted son of Ella and a Rektor son.  He has a soft, wavy fleece and a gentle disposition.  He is a curious, yet respectful ram.  Crispin is the twin of Caspian and is bred to Lady and Mercedes for lambs this spring.  See their cuties on the lambs for sale page. (Photo taken at 10 months.)Pedigree

Caspian is the black spotted twin brother of Crispin.  His dam is Ella and sire is a Rector son.  Caspian has magnificent, striped horns.   He was leased to the Cook Farm to cover their registered Icelandic ewes in the fall of 2007 for spring 2008 lambs.  Contact Janet Cook if you are interested in any of this handsome young ram's offspring.
