VERA

Lavendels Vera 3/2/2009-4/29/2024. Age 15. We lost our precious Vera. There are not enough words to tell how much this dog means to our family. Not only was she a wonderful companion, but she was also the best farm dog you could ever ask for: brave against a charging ram, gentle with small animals and children, killer of vermin. She was not motivated by food or toys, but by her own internal urgings. We tried many sports but if she didn't see the point (agility jumps,) she wouldn't do it. She had a sense of humor. You had to negotiate with her because you couldn't make her do anything. She loved to swim, fetch, hike, camp, but what really got her pumped up was Barn Hunt! She was also a super mom, even digging multi-room dens for her babies. I can't imagine life without her. I will miss you so much my sweet Pumpkin V.
